Happy Holidays
The holiday season is upon us. It has come so quickly and will soon be gone. Ever year I make Christmas gifts for my family. They have varied from bookmarks to ornaments. They are each personalized for each person and hand-made/decorated by me. I enjoy doing this. But it’s a lot of work. This year I was so busy I found it hard to fit it into my schedule. But I did. I’ll wait till after Christmas to reveal what I made this year since I haven’t given all of mine out.
For years my family has done a secret Santa gift exchange. The cousins pick from the cousins’ hat and the adults pick from the adults hat. There’s normally a money limit to keep it fair. But the last two years we haven’t gotten around to it. This year us cousins did it our selves. The oldest of us, Veronica, did all the planing and hosted the exchange. So last week we all went to her house for pizza and gift giving. My lovely cousin Kelly had me and gave the best gifts. I received lip balm, a bath bomb, bubble bath, nail decorations, creams and hair chalk! I couldn’t have asked for better gifts so, thanks you to Kelly! I picked my cousin Mitchell. I got him a rubber-band shooter, a head scratcher-thing and bacon flavored toothpaste. After the gift giving and game playing most cousins departed but a few of us stayed to watch The Conjuring. It was a very fun night that lasted into the morning!
So I just wanted to put something out there in case I forget to later. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year! And if you don’t celebrate Christmas, happy whatever your holiday might be!
Tell me, do you do a secret Santa in your family or make gifts? Tell me what you got/gave or made! Comment below 🙂
