To start of this overdue post, I am SO thrilled I just exceeded 100 followers on I’m Thinking Happy! I have a total of 106 followers (at the moment). It feels like it was just yesterday I was overjoyed getting 50 followers (even though that was October 12, 2013)! I want to thank all of my followers for helping me get this point and being so awesome! I want to shout out to my parents for being my first followers and always reading my blog (also for giving me life but that’s another post). I would also like to shout out “armerando” and “afisherman2013” for almost always commenting on my blog  and encouraging me to write.  And last but not least I want to shout out to all my new blogging friends, you know who you are if you are one.

Life is an improvisation

“Everyone is an improv actor, and we’re in a play called Life. And sorry to tell you but there’s no intermission.” – Hannah

I came up with this quote while getting off the bus yesterday! It’s basically saying life is like an improv and you just gotta roll with the punches, and there’s no  break. Your on, the whole show!

Sorry for not posting lately my show’s been running over-time with homework and softball! But I have a post that should be ready by Friday and one for hopefully Monday! I see more book reviews in this blog’s future!

P.S.

I had a birthday since I lasted posted and am now a teenager! Just thought you might like to know!

All the beauty…

“Think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy” – Anne Frank

I think this is a great quote. I agree with Anne. I feel that too often people only see the dark and not the light.  If you have not read a Diary of a Young Girl I would recommend it. It’s not very fast past in the middle but it’s still a good story and it’s a true story. It is the diary of Anne Frank. Recommend quotes below.

Experience is…

Experience is not what happens to you; it’s what you do with what happens to you. – Aldous Huxley

I believe this quote to be true. I can’t explain it I just know it is. Trust me I tried writing examples to explain it more clearly but it didn’t work. So this is one you have to figure out on your own. Do you have any thoughts on this quote? Comment them below:)

P.S. It’s a month until my birthday!

I never have to live without you…

If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you. – A. A. Milne

The main reason I love this quote is because when I was little (like 5 years old) I always thought about love in that way. I mean I always said, I hope my mom, my dad, my brother and I would die at the same time so none of us would need to live with out  the others. I felt that way because I loved them so much I could not dream of a world with out them. I have known them my whole life and don’t know life with out them. So I guess it’s more a fear my 5 year old self had. Now a little bit older I understand that fear of loss more then I did when I was younger. So I guess what I’m saying is I understand this quote. Do you get it?

Winter

Winter contains many joys for me. I enjoy skiing, ice skating and many other things winter brings.  The cold I can’t say I love or even like. But snow makes winter a great season for me. Snowball fights, sledding, skiing and just trying to walk in the big piles of snow are always fun for me. As much as I love snow I would love it so much more if it were warm.  I wish it were more like this-

Winter brings many good and many bad things. Good things include all the fun stuff like going outside and playing in the snow and all the fun activities you can do when it’s cold. And a cold winter day makes hot chocolate taste SO much better. But the bad things are like IT’S TOO DARN COLD and I have to get up at 7 am to go to school. In the warmer months getting up is just annoying but getting up and out of your nice warm bed and pajamas, to walk around in the cold to get ready for a long day at school… How-bout NO. The lucky thing for me is I have a week long break coming up starting today the 14th and ending the 24th. And I will be on a curse with a couple new books and my Grandparents! So that means no cold early mornings for me, I think winter just got better!

What do you like/dislike about winter? What are you doing for your break? Comment below!

Oh my god this is so true! Chocolate and love go together very well! Happy almost Valentines day!

The Fault in Our Stars Book Review

Hazel is 17-years old and has been living with cancer in her lungs since she was 13.  Her family believed her to be depressed seeing as she didn’t spend any time with friends and spent a lot of her time thinking about death. But that all changed one day in her support group when she first met Augustus Waters.  Augustus, is a hot young guy with a great smile and happens to be recently cancer free.  At first sight Augustus literally can’t take his eyes off Hazel. The two soon become an odd type of friends. Hazel doesn’t want to like him as much as she does because of her unstable state. But Augustus has a different view. See what happens to Hazel and Augustus in The Fault in Our Stars By John Green.

I LOVED The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. I could not put it down (that made for some late nights and getting to school late).  I plan to read it many more times. It is so perfect I can’t find it in me to put it in my book pile (I have all my books in a pile), at the moment it is sitting on my night table even though I finished it well over 2-weeks ago. John Green is an AMAZING writer. I would suggest any of his books (Looking for Alaska and Paper Towns book reviews later). Though his writing contains some cursing and mature subjects, it is really good.  I think The Fault in Our Stars is a book everyone should read at some point in there life. I would say that anyone under 10 shouldn’t read it. This is a touching and truthful and defiantly not sugar coated (at any point) story. The characters are great and you really fall in love with them. Warning: it’s a bit of a teary book, have tissues near by! The Fault in Our Stars is told from the point of view of Hazel Grace. She is a girl and it’s written by a boy, which causes some interesting thoughts! I would give The fault in Our Stars by John Green, a 9.9 out of 10.

The Fault in Our Stars is being made into a movie, which I’m VERY excited about. The movie comes out June 6, 2014 so you have some time to read it before then. The trailer was recently released click on this link to see it.

Also as a side note, it’s Spirit Week at my school and tomorrow is come in as a favorite book characters day. So I’m going as Isaac (a boy from The Fault in Our Stars) my friend Kiki is going as Augustus (One of the main characters who is a dude from The Fault in Our Stars) and my friend Ali is going as Hazel (The main character of The Fault in Our Stars). Yes, me and Kiki are girls and yes we are going as boys but who cares.

What are your thoughts in The Fault in Our Stars? Have you read it? Do you have any book suggestions for me or book reviews??

All life is an …

All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

I fell in love with this quote the minute  I saw it! It is so true. Life is an experiment and it could go either way, good or bad. Everyone is just looking for the data to see which way is best to live their life. The best life is the one that you live the way you want to live it.  If you choose to live a simple life do that, but if you want a taste of this and a taste of that. GO FOR IT. Experiment to see what you like best see what results make you happy! If the results you get don’t work for you, try something different! What are you thoughts on this quote? Tell me below:)

In three words …

In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on. –
Robert Frost

Love this quote. It’s a good one to keep in mind if you are having a bad day. Life goes on, it’s not the end of the world, you just have to push through and get to the other side:)
